Established in August 1970, Lenehan Scaffolding (Preston) Ltd has operated in the northwest region both on and offshore, carrying out diverse scaffolding projects for the Petro-chemical, Construction and allied industries.

During this period the company has established and maintained its record of safety and control of its operations resulting in very high standards, the staff is well experienced in this particular field of business and well respected.

Lenehan Scaffolding’s Main regional office is based in Preston Lancashire; this office is staffed with 10 personnel, who are responsible for the day-to-day requirements of hire, contracts, sales, supervision and administrative requirements of our North West, workload.

MANPOWER QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

All scaffolders employed by Lenehan Scaffolding meet and exceed minimum standards demanded by Civil, Construction, Petro-Chemicals and Mechanical Industry Clients.

National Standards:

All scaffolder’s are directly employed in accordance with the requirements of the TG 20

Recruitment Standards:

Operatives are not recruited without firstly passing a scaffolding competence and experience test.

Site Level:

On site supervisors are trained to check the condition of equipment in use to ensure that no unauthorized cutting, slackening, removal or damage occurs whilst equipment is erected. They also appraise on the job health and safety in its implementation

DAY-TO-DAY SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisors are responsible on a daily basis to ensure:

1. Efficient labour and material utilization.

2. Adherence to client permits system.

3. Display of safety sign and scafftag system.

4. Monitoring and inspection of executed work.

5. Incident and labour utilization reporting.

6. Liaison with appointed client manager, to plan and execute future workload.

7. Liaison with base office for logistics requirements.

8. Monitor, post inspects and carries out on the job supervision regarding Health & Safety.
